Elevator Operators load and unload trucks, operate grain dryers, assist with grain handling. Perform maintenance and repairs to grain handling equipment. Some work is at elevated heights. Also, maintain the general appearance of the facility including elevators, grounds, and buildings. CDL a plus, with compensation commensurate with licensing and experience. Applicants must be able to obtain a valid CDL class B with airbrake, hazmat and tanker endorsements and have a clean driving record. Occasional call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response. Must be able to periodically lift up to 60-75 lbs. and work independently. United Cooperative is seeking an enthusiastic, performance-driven, full-time Service Technician/Delivery Driver. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.

Technician/Delivery professionals load, secure, transport, deliver and unload propane to and from area destinations. Technicians maintain, service and deliver, when necessary, the company’s propane fuel equipment and products. Individuals install, repair and maintain propane tanks and cylinders, conduct propane system tests, ready installation for inspection and maintain safety and compliance records.  Drivers inspect vehicles for needed routine maintenance and equipment changes. Communications Specialist | Beaver Dam
United Cooperative is seeking a communications, media, and public relations specialist to work in Beaver Dam, Wis.  Duties include planning and coordinating, public relations, donation programs, advertising, sales-material creation, and internal- and external-communication programs for the cooperative.

A bachelor’s degree in marketing communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field – an agricultural background is helpful.  Individual must have excellent skills in managing staff, organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication -- both oral and written. Must be a self-starter with keen ability to exercise initiative, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Some fluency of InDesign and Photoshop required.

CDL Delivery Drivers (Local Routes) | Sauk City, Denmark, Shawano
United Cooperative has a full time Class B CDL driver position at our feed mill location in Sauk City, Hartford, Denmark, and Shawano, Wis. This local driving position consists of regular weekly hours, M-F, home every night, no weekends, and limited, but some regular overtime hours.  Successful candidates must have strong customer service abilities, forklift experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have a class B CDL with air brake endorsement.

Feed Sales Specialist | Denmark

General Feed Mill Labor | Denmark, Sauk City
We have a full time general labor position at our feed mill location. Candidates must be reliable and have good math and customer service skills. Individuals will mix feed, work in our warehouse, drive forklift, handle 50 lbs. bags (or larger), and sometimes work at elevated heights. Computer systems knowledge and forklift experience is a plus. If you have an agricultural background and want to continue a career in agriculture, this might be a position for you.

Northern Feed Sales Manager | Shawano/Denmark Area
Manage and coach a team of feed sales professionals toward the attainment of established goals for the region.  Maintain key customer relationships by managing a list of own customers.  Help establish and monitor regional sales goals, select new employees based on appropriate skill sets, job requirements and cultural fit, develop the sales team and review general work assignments for each employee on a regular basis.  Update employees regularly on new product information.

Actively work to increase own personal skills and knowledge and manage and develop the sales team in regard to new products and services, skills, and company procedures and policies.

The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree or more, in an agricultural field with at least five years of experience in sales or marketing management.  Must be able to communicate well in both oral and written formats and demonstrate strong managerial skills.

Feed and Grain Location Manager | Denmark
Job duties include Feed and Grain management of location. Manage staff; coordinate customer communications, deliveries, and sales of products; manage receipt of grain from producers, create a plan for receiving, manufacturing, and shipping to efficiently meet customer needs; support and stress safety policies; and lead by example.  The manager must also work with customers to increase sales and market share and encourage repeat business.

Successful candidate will be extremely organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail is required, as well as knowledge of the feed and grain industry.

Managerial experience is required.  Ability to take on additional responsibilities over time.  Experience with profit responsibilities in prior roles.  Be a Team Leader at the location.

Agronomy

Custom Sprayer Applicators | Auroraville, Beaver Dam, Mayville
Deliver and distribute agronomy products to producers. Operate spraying and spreading equipment and deliveries in an efficient manner. Mix fertilizer or chemicals properly to ensure quality standards and accuracy. Work with customers to resolve problems and report complaints if necessary. Present a professional image. Maintain application equipment and recommend replacement when necessary. Maintain fertilizer plant and warehouse as assigned. Class A or B CDL, Tanker or Hazmat endorsements a plus. 

Seasonal CDL and Non-CDL Driver Positions | Auroraville, Beaver Dam, Coleman, Darlington, Deerfield, Denmark, Greenville, Hartford, Hillsboro, Johnson Creek, Mayville, Oshkosh, Pickett, Prairie du Sac, Pulaski, Reedsburg, Shawano, Westfield

Trucking

Over the Road (OTR) Truck Driver | South Beaver Dam
Pickup and deliver bulk grain or feed stuffs, fertilizer etc. according to schedule and on a timely basis on overnight routes. Interstate and intrastate pickup and delivery of semi hopper loads of grains and feedstuffs from Midwest vendors.  Maintain necessary documentation.  Follow all legal regulations and guidelines to maintain a commercial driver’s license.  Perform daily truck inspections, informing supervisor of all needed maintenance and repairs.

Applicants must have a minimum of one year of verifiable experience operating a tractor trailer combination and have a class A CDL.  An excellent driving record and demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.
