Operation Highlights

Nov 10, 2025

United Ethanol took advantage of strong ethanol margins during the Third Quarter. This past October, we completed our Fall Maintenance Outage. Our focus going into this winter is consistent operations and executing our PM programs.

Third Quarter numbers for United Ethanol through September:

  • Corn bushels ground averaged 1,797,150 bushels per month.
  • Ethanol gallons sold averaged 5,299,875 gallons per month.
  • DDGS tons sold averaged 12,298 tons per month.
  • Corn Oil pounds sold averaged 1,668,540 per month.

United Ethanol performed very well through Q3, with our team improving performance through training and reliable equipment. Our LED project is nearly through its engineering phase, and we anticipate submitting equipment specifications to providers this month. Project conducted several piping tie-ins during our Fall Outage. We have additional tie-ins planned for the next Spring 2026 scheduled outage, with the final installation still scheduled for November 2026. As harvest concludes this Fall, we wish for the safety of our producers and grain haulers to our locations. Thank you to all our investors and those supporting ethanol from corn.

During the third quarter of 2025, the United Ethanol team maintained a strong focus on employee training, consistent plant operations, and cost management. The team achieved significant progress across all three of these key areas. Through comprehensive, detailed training, we successfully reduced operational errors, increased average daily ethanol production across all three months of the quarter, and lowered overall operational expenses by optimizing chemical use.

The 2025 crop season has given way to exceptional fall harvest conditions. As I write this article, most of the soybean harvest is complete, and the corn harvest is well underway. Expectations are high for decent yields, low moisture, and excellent quality corn to be harvested.

In the second quarter of 2025, the United Ethanol team put a huge focus on continuing our operations team training, reducing our operational costs and increasing uptime. The team has reached some huge milestones in regard to these initiatives. In the second quarter we had significantly increased efficiency in Fermentation by eliminating the vast majority of our infection sources in the plant and focusing on training with our operations team. We have improved from the first quarter in many aspects, but the team is always growing, and I am excited about where the future will take us. The plant has been running exceptionally well out of our spring outage and through the summer as we battle the higher temperatures.
