May Operation Notes

May 15, 2025

Plant Operations was in a steady state during the first part of 2025.

  • Milton ground 1,588,147 bushels corn per month.
  • Ethanol sales per month averaged 4,682,862 gallons.
  • DDGS sales per month averaged 9,965 tons.
  • Corn Oil sales per month averaged 1,350,235 pounds.

The extreme cold months had some plant challenges and some opportunities with natural gas. The United Ethanol Team lead by Gavin Dirda has made great strides in good, consistent operations. Our Second Quarter focus is our Spring Maintenance Shutdown. We are optimistic in better ethanol margins during this summer and plan ahead for our Fall Outage. As always, we appreciate our producers and investors in supporting fuel ethanol from corn.

During the third quarter of 2025, the United Ethanol team maintained a strong focus on employee training, consistent plant operations, and cost management. The team achieved significant progress across all three of these key areas. Through comprehensive, detailed training, we successfully reduced operational errors, increased average daily ethanol production across all three months of the quarter, and lowered overall operational expenses by optimizing chemical use.
