Seasonal Administrative Assistant | Horicon, Sauk City, Belmont, Boscobel
United Cooperative is looking for Seasonal  Administrative Assistants at our grain elevator locations.  Work in a friendly atmosphere with competitive starting pay with over-time hours during the harvest season.  Administrative Assistants weigh inbound/outbound grain trucks and grade grain.  We will train to grade grain, weigh trucks and run other tests.  Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, multi-tasking, detailed and accurate record-keeping is required.  Customer contact skills are necessary as well as some basic administrative experience.  Additional duties will include answering phones and greeting vendors.  Agricultural experience is a plus.  Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered.

Seasonal Grain Elevator Operators | Horicon, Ripon, Belmont, Boscobel, Pulaski
United Cooperative is looking for Seasonal Grain Elevator Operators at our grain elevator locations.  Work in a friendly atmosphere with competitive starting pay with over-time hours during the harvest season.  Elevator Operators load and unload trucks, operate grain dryers, assist with grain handling, weighing and grading truck loads at scale house. Perform maintenance and repairs to grain handling equipment including loader tractors and railcar mover.  Some work is at elevated heights.  Also, maintain the general appearance of the facility including elevators, grounds, and buildings.

Marketing Communications | Beaver Dam

Writing for radio, newsletters, reports and helping to stay on top of the social media accounts is part of the package.

Prefer a 2 year post high school degree or experience in the agriculture or communication /marketing field. Ag background a plus. Strong technology skills, a knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, Microsoft office and social media platforms will assist the right person with the creativity we’re looking for. IT Support and Systems Specialist | Flexible
United Cooperative is looking for an IT Support and Systems Specialist to work at multiple locations across the company. Location as daily starting out point is flexible, (preferably within the State of Wisconsin, near one of our locations). The successful candidate will be able to: Respond to end users’ needs and concerns relating to computer business applications and general systems issues; provide first-line support for all software and hardware; manage technical resources working onsite, providing vendors with all the information needed to assist in supporting the end users; diagnose and resolve technical problems, prevents problem escalation and provides solution tracking; experience with Office 365 and Cloud-based applications required. Familiarity with AS 400 systems a plus.

Full-time Energy Delivery Driver | Greenville, Beaver Dam
United Cooperative is seeking an enthusiastic, performance-driven, full-time Delivery Driver. If you want to work for a great company where your experience and dedication make a difference, join our team.

Driver professionals load, secure, transport, deliver and unload propane to and from area destinations. Drivers inspect vehicles for needed routine maintenance and equipment changes. Preparation and maintenance of appropriate records and operation of truck in accordance with safety procedures and DOT requirements a must. Daily interaction with customers for exceptional customer service and delivery questions.

Applicants must be able to obtain a valid CDL class B with airbrake, hazmat and tanker endorsements and have a clean driving record. Occasional call rotation for after hours and weekend emergency deliveries or response. Must be able to periodically lift up to 60-75 lbs. and work independently. Employees must be at least 21 years of age to work with refined fuels. We are willing to train the right individual.
 

Energy Service Technician/Energy Delivery Driver | Reedsburg
United Cooperative is seeking an enthusiastic, performance-driven, full-time Service Technician/Delivery Driver. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.

Technician/Delivery professionals load, secure, transport, deliver and unload propane to and from area destinations. Technicians maintain, service and deliver, when necessary, the company’s propane fuel equipment and products. Individuals install, repair and maintain propane tanks and cylinders, conduct propane system tests, ready installation for inspection and maintain safety and compliance records.  Drivers inspect vehicles for needed routine maintenance and equipment changes. Preparation and maintenance of appropriate records and operation of truck in accordance with safety procedures and all DOT requirements.

Maintenance

Fleet Mechanic | Pulaski
Our mechanics perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks and agricultural equipment.  Must have experience in preventative maintenance including lubrication, hydraulics, brake work, and tire replacement. Successful candidates will have good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.  Position requires maintenance experience and the ability to follow and understand written/oral instructions.  Must have own tools. CDL desirable.

Feed

Class A CDL Delivery Driver (Local Driver) | Wilton
United Cooperative has a full time Class A CDL driver position at our Wilton, WI feed mill location. This local driving position consists of regular weekly hours, M-F, home every night, no weekends, and limited, but some regular overtime hours.  Successful candidates must have strong customer service abilities, forklift experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have a class A CDL with air brake endorsement.

Livestock Feed & Nutrition Sales Specialist | Denmark, Beaver Dam
Promote and sell United Cooperative’s feed and forage products to customers and prospects.  Make sales contacts daily taking orders.  Build a client base and maintain and manage a target call list of 100 - 150+ accounts.  

Build relationships on dairy and livestock operations and ask for opportunities to bid on feed and mineral mixes and loads of commodity feed products. Follow up in a timely manner to all feed bids and price quotes provided to prospects.  Work with sales management to develop account strategies to grow the feed business. 

Provide a high level of technical production service to customers:  Rations, Record Analysis, Inventory Management, Feed Budgets, etc.  Provide nutrition and production management services to client base according to client preference.  Attend training and professional development meetings, informational meetings, and seminars as directed or approved by supervisor.

Qualified individual will have strong people skills, including persuasiveness and persistence, able to learn new information quickly, and be self-motivated and organized. Computer skills necessary, including ability to work effectively with Microsoft Office and Outlook software. Four-year degree in agricultural field or the equivalent combination of farm experience and prior sales experience required.

Feed Sales Specialist (Calf Emphasis) | Denmark

Feed Mill/CDL Driver | Sauk City
United Cooperative is looking for a full time Feed Mill/CDL Delivery Driver position at our feed mill location in Sauk City, WI. Candidates must be reliable and have good math and customer service skills. Individuals will mix feed, work in our warehouse, drive forklift, handle 50-60 lbs. bags (or smaller), sometimes work at elevated heights and drivers must have a class B CDL with air brake endorsement. Computer systems knowledge and forklift experience is a plus.

Feed Administrative Assistant/Billing | Denmark
United Cooperative is seeking an administrative assistant responsible for professional customer service, billing, and administrative duties. Greets customers and establishes a helpful, friendly atmosphere at the office.  Billing administration and billing resolution responsibilities for location customers.  Inputs business activities using company software system and works with corporate personnel to assure completeness and accuracy of data input.  Must be proficient in use of 10 Key calculator and Personal Computer, Microsoft Office software, and able to learn software system.  Must have good communication skills and be organized.

Agronomy

Custom Sprayer Applicator/CDL Driver | Reedsburg, Pulaski
Deliver and distribute agronomy products to producers.  Operate spraying and spreading equipment and deliveries in an efficient manner.  Mix fertilizer or chemicals properly to ensure quality standards and accuracy.  Work with customers to resolve problems and report complaints if necessary.  Present a professional image.  Maintain application equipment and recommend replacement when necessary.  Maintain fertilizer plant and warehouse as assigned.  Class A or B CDL, Tanker or Hazmat endorsements a plus. 

Dry Plant Manager | Reedsburg
Oversee the loading and unloading and delivery and distribution of agronomy products to customers.  Assist in the direction and operation of the dry fertilizer plant.  Mixing and loading fertilizer.  Plan routes for application equipment and deliveries to farm/fields. Working with Fleet and Equipment Manager schedule maintenance for equipment or facility.  Work with seed team to assemble and deliver orders.  Work with trucking department to move fertilizer as needed.

Qualifications: Good driving record with a current Class A CDL. HAZ Mat certification highly desirable.  Must have or obtain and maintain, a custom applicator license with a mixing and loading option.  Must possess a strong overall knowledge of agronomy operations.   Must perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Trucking

Over the Road (OTR) Truck Driver | South Beaver Dam
Pickup and deliver bulk grain or feed stuffs, fertilizer etc. according to schedule and on a timely basis on overnight routes. Interstate and intrastate pickup and delivery of semi hopper loads of grains and feedstuffs from Midwest vendors.  Maintain necessary documentation.  Follow all legal regulations and guidelines to maintain a commercial driver’s license.  Perform daily truck inspections, informing supervisor of all needed maintenance and repairs.

Applicants must have a minimum of one year of verifiable experience operating a tractor trailer combination and have a class A CDL.  An excellent driving record and demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.
