Part of Privilege
Dec 11, 2020
As we near the end of 2020, I reflect, as I do every year, on what has been accomplished by our agronomy team at United Cooperative and what a privilege it is to be a part of it. Being around a team that has a culture that wants to see your operation succeed as much as our agronomists, applicators, truckers, administrators and other staff do, makes each season rewarding no matter if we have a great weather year or one like 2019.
Not only do we work hard at educating ourselves so we can give you recommendations that provide you with the best return on investment possible, the UC agronomy team has delivered over 300,000 tons of fertilizer, delivered over 325,000 units of seed, sprayed or spread over 1.35 million acres and delivered countless gallons, ounces and pounds of crop protection products so far this season. I have seen several weeks where several employees worked over 100 hours trying to get you these products as quickly as possible all while dealing with the countless questions that come up during the cropping season. That is dedication!!
Keep in mind that while your ground is extremely important to us so is the ground of the several thousand growers that we service during a planting and growing season that normally affords us only few days to get it all done.
As always thank you for allowing us to be part of your operation and I hope you appreciate the agronomy staff at United Cooperative as much as I do.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year.
