Meet Your Newest Director: Jordan Crave

My name is Jordan Crave. I am the Agronomy Manager for Crave Brothers Farm L.L.C. located in Waterloo, Wisconsin. I am a partner in Crave Brothers Farm L.L.C., Crave Brothers Farmstead Cheese L.L.C., and Clean Fuel Crave L.L.C.

I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Farm and Industry Short Course program where I specialized in agronomy and ag mechanics. I worked for a custom harvesting and manure application company for about 4 years after college before coming back to our family farm full-time in 2009.

We currently milk 1900 cows at two different sites and raise all of our own replacement heifers. We farm 2,925 acres of corn, alfalfa, grass hay, wheat, soybeans, pasture, and a variety of cover crops.

I currently serve on the Board of Education for Zion Lutheran School in Columbus, WI. My wife, Leah, and I have four children from ages three to nine.

Our family and farm have partnered with United Cooperative since before I was born. We have had the opportunity to grow and work together over the years. We are very appreciative of the relationships we have built and the success that United Cooperative has achieved. I would like to serve on the board as an opportunity to give something back to United Cooperative and to all its members. I believe I would bring a unique and fresh perspective to the board being part of three different agricultural family businesses.
