Feed Mill Asst. Lead Person
Location: Sauk City
United Cooperative is seeking an Assistant Lead Person for our Sauk City feed mill.  The individual helps assure the accurate mixing and delivery of bulk or bagged feed and related products in a manner that will optimize the cooperative’s market share and savings, improve the cooperative’s efficiency, help achieve the cooperative’s goals, and result in outstanding customer service.  Responsibilities include assistance with daily operations and supervision of labor force to ensure efficient use of time and resources, sales, service, safety and facility maintenance, especially when the lead is absent.  Employee maintains warehouse inventories and orders feed product when necessary.  Employee will maintain and promote a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative to the community.


Energy Delivery Driver
Locations: Watertown, Shawano/Gresham, Beaver Dam, and Deerfield
United Cooperative is seeking four enthusiastic, performance-driven propane sales and delivery professionals, one to work in the Watertown area, one to work in the Beaver Dam area, one to work in the Shawano/Gresham area, and one in the Deerfield area. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to providing superior customer service. Applicants must have a valid CDL class B with the ability to obtain a Hazmat endorsement, and be able to lift 75 lbs. or more, and work independently. A drug screening is required and propane experience desired. United Cooperative offers a competitive salary with annual reviews and an excellent benefit package. EOE

Grain Elevator Operator/Handler Lead:
Locations: Rock Springs
United Cooperative is looking to hire a grain elevator operator/handler lead person at our Rock Springs, Wis. grain location. Responsibilities include leading other operators in loading and un-loading trucks and railcars, filling and reclaiming of ground grain piles, transferring and blending grain, and to maintain and monitor the equipment and the facility. Successful candidates will have a strong customer service ability, math and basic computer skills, and be able to work Overtime as work load requires. Staff accountant
Location: Beaver Dam
United Cooperative is hiring a staff accountant to work in the Beaver Dam corporate office. This person will complete daily journal entries; manage daily banking wire and ACH transfers; complete month-end bank reconciliations; generate monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll-tax and sales-tax returns; analyze general-ledger accounts; and prepare multiple state-tax withholding and unemployment payments and filings. Requirements include advanced computer (Excel and Word) skills; exceptional problem-solving abilities; and good organizational skills. He/she must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, be able to work independently, and multitask well. Controller
Location: Beaver Dam
United Cooperative is hiring a controller to work from the corporate office in Beaver Dam. The appropriate applicant will manage accounting-department activities for accurate and timely dissemination of financial-management reports and budgets. He/she will assure corporate tax and payroll compliance, as well as establish and maintain controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data. Requirements include strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, and banking working knowledge. Must also be spreadsheet proficient and possess strong managerial abilities. A bachelor's in accounting or finance is required -- CPA certification a plus. The appropriate applicant must have 5-10 years of hands-on accounting experience. Communications manager
Location: Beaver Dam
United Cooperative is hiring a communications manager to work from Beaver Dam. Duties include planning, coordinating, and managing all public relations, cooperative branding, donation programs, advertising, sales-material creation, and internal- and external-communication programs for the cooperative. Appropriate applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in marking communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field – an agricultural background is helpful. He/she must also have excellent skills in design, writing, organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication -- both oral and written. Must be a self-starter with keen ability to exercise initiative, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Fluency of InDesign and Photoshop required. Convenience store manager
Location: Hustisford
United Cooperative is looking for a self-motivated leader to take over management at our Hustisford Cenex Convenience Store. The ideal candidate will have excellent people-management skills as well as a proven track record of sales and profitability growth in a retail-store setting. Applicants must be able to control costs, meet budgets, and treat the store as if he/she owned it. Responsibilities include sales and marketing, customer service, supervision, inventory control, and maintenance. Areas of knowledge include cash-handling procedures, recruitment, training, and merchandising. Energy service technician
Locations: Pickett
United Cooperative is hiring an energy service technician in the Pickett/Berlin/Oshkosh area, to deliver, maintain, and service the company’s propane fuel equipment. The successful candidate must ensure company and government propane safety, policy, and regulatory standards are met -- while maintaining zero preventable accidents. He/she must also maintain safety and compliance records; have a valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL and hazmat endorsement; be able to work independently; have the ability to lift 75 pounds or more, stoop, bend, and stand for long periods of time; possess a clean driving record; and have excellent communication skills. General feed-mill labor/CDL delivery driver

Locations: Sauk City and Shawano
We're seeking general feed-mill labor at our Sauk City and Shawano feed mills. Successful candidates must have good personal math skills, strong customer service abilities, forklift experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Individuals must be able to handle 100-pound bags (or smaller) on a regular basis; work at elevated heights; climb ladders frequently; possess a class A CDL; and be able to drive truck to other areas of the state, if necessary. Prior feed-mill experience is preferred. Convenience store clerk
Locations: Beaver Dam, Pickett, Ontario, Poynette, and Wyocena
We have immediate openings for part-time store clerks (about 27 hours per week or less) at our United Cooperative convenience stores. Work in a friendly atmosphere with competitive starting pay and regular reviews and increases. Flexible schedules with afternoon, evening, or weekend hours. Prior customer service experience is helpful but not required. Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered. Convenience-store employees receive paid training, uniforms, and employee discounts on various food and beverages. United Cooperative is a drug-free workplace. Employees my be randomly drug tested.
