Credit Specialist

Location: Beaver Dam
nited Cooperative is looking to hire a collection and credit specialist for our Beaver Dam location. This individual will process credit applications, past-due account collection, and assist in the processing of small-claims actions. Employee must be proficient in the use of a 10-key calculator, Excel, and Word. Prior experience with credit and collections is desired. Successful candidate will be extremely organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail is required.

Full-time and Part-time/Seasonal  CDL Driver and Non-CDL Driver Positions

Locations:  Beaver Dam, Hartford, Hillsboro, Deerfield, Johnson Creek, Pulaski, Mayville, Prairie du Sac, Denmark, Wilton, Reedsburg.

Job duties include, but are not limited to: Hauling fertilizer and feed to our customers. Semi-tractor, single, tandem or quad axle.  Competitive wages.  40-60 hours per week. Overtime paid after 9 hours per day and 40 hours per week.  Class A or B CDL.  Tanker or Hazmat endorsement is a plus, but not necessary.

Feed Mill Manager
Location: Denmark
Job duties include, but are not limited to: Management of location’s labor force; coordinating customer communications, deliveries, and sales of feed and related products; creating a plan for receiving, manufacturing, and shipping to efficiently meet customer needs, actively support and lead safety policies; and leading by example to maintain positive employee morale. The manager must also work to increase unit sales and market share, and encourage repeat business. Successful candidate will be extremely organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail is required, as well as knowledge of the feed and grain industry. Feed Mill Asst. Lead Person
Location: Shawano
United Cooperative is seeking an Assistant Lead Person for our Shawano feed mill.  The individual helps assure the accurate mixing and delivery of bulk or bagged feed and related products in a manner that will optimize the cooperative’s market share and savings, improve the cooperative’s efficiency, help achieve the cooperative’s goals, and result in outstanding customer service.  Responsibilities include assistance with daily operations and supervision of labor force to ensure efficient use of time and resources, sales, service, safety and facility maintenance, especially when the lead is absent.  Employee maintains warehouse inventories and orders feed product when necessary.  Employee will maintain and promote a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative to the community.

General feed-mill labor/CDL delivery driver
Locations: Beaver Dam, Hartford, Shawano, Pulaski
United Cooperative is seeking general feed-mill labor at our Hartford, Shawano, and Pulaski feed mills. Successful candidates must have good personal math skills, strong customer service abilities, forklift experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Individuals must be able to handle 100-pound bags (or smaller) on a regular basis; work at elevated heights; climb ladders frequently; possess a class A CDL; and be able to drive truck to other areas of the state, if necessary. Prior feed-mill experience is preferred. Fleet Mechanic

Location:  Pulaski 

United Cooperative is hiring a mechanic in Pulaski, Wisconsin. The individual will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on medium and heavy-duty trucks and agricultural equipment.  Must have experience in preventative maintenance including lubrication, hydraulics, brake work, and tire replacement. Successful candidate will have good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Position requires maintenance experience and the ability to follow and understand written/oral instructions.  Must have own tools. CDL desirable.

Grain Assistant, Seasonal
Location: Ripon
United Cooperative is looking for a part-time assistant (about 40 hours per week or less) at our United Cooperative grain elevator location in Ripon for the harvest season.  Work in a friendly atmosphere with competitive starting pay with significant hours during the grain harvest season.  We will train to grade grain, weigh trucks and run other tests.  Customer contact skills are necessary as well as some basic administrative experience.  There may be some flexibility with scheduling.  Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered.  United Cooperative is a drug-free workplace. Convenience store clerk
Location: Pickett, Poynette, Reedsburg, and Wyocena
We have immediate openings for part-time store clerks (about 27 hours per week or less) at our United Cooperative convenience store. Work in a friendly atmosphere with competitive starting pay and regular reviews and increases. Flexible schedules with afternoon, evening, or weekend hours. Prior customer service experience is helpful but not required. Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered. Convenience-store employees receive paid training, uniforms, and employee discounts on various food and beverages. United Cooperative is a drug-free workplace. Employees may be randomly drug tested.
